It is estimated that there will be up to 100 local jobs created during the construction phase of the Killalea Eco Lodges.
The great bulk of these new jobs will be involved in building the lodges off site. Other jobs will be involved in building the on site roads and infrastructure.
Later, during the operational phase, it is estimated that around 80 people will be employed in operating the eco tourism resort. Jobs will include reception and housekeeping staff, chefs and wait staff, resort management staff.
All of the above jobs, both on and off the site, will be offered and filled by the firms and their contractors, who will be providing all the various services, not the Killalea State Park Trust or Killalea Coastal Investments itself.
